邓光明，教授，硕士生导师，桂林理工大学应用统计研究所所长，中国商业统计学会理事，中国市场调查与教学研究分会理事，广西数学学会常务理事，广西科技项目评估咨询专家。主要研究方向：应用统计、抽样技术、复杂网络统计建模。长期从事统计学的教学和科研工作，在国内外重要期刊上公开发表学术研究论文40余篇，主持和参加国家和省厅级科研项目10余项，教改项目6项，主编和参编出版教材4部。
